KNITTING COURSE

If you would like to learn how to knit or expand your knitting knowledge, then join us for a six week knitting course.  Each week there will be a brief review of techniques which will allow you to enhance you knitting skills, such as fix mistakes, add new yarn and more. During each week of the course you will have the opportunity to work on your project under the guidance of our master knitter Mrs.Johanne Barton. She will also highlight a different established knitting techniques each week.

Starting Sunday February 20th 11:00 to 12:30 or 1:00 to 2:30 Cost of the six week course is $40.00

Camelot Centre Adult Day Program is a registered incorporated not for profit charity, offering day programming for intellectually disabled adults over the age of 20. The program was developed to meet the needs of disabled individuals who, upon leaving the secondary school environment, had no program in the community suited to their specific needs. We now serve 18 families who come from all over Halton Region.

Fibre Processing

If you enjoy natural fibres a visit to our farm would provide you a first hand opportunity to see the steps involved in preparing fibre for rovings, batting, yarn and felting.
